01 · THE PROFESSIONAL

Enterprise-level thinking. Real-life capacity.

Madelyn is the Founder and CEO of Chic Geek Enterprises LLC, a Detroit-based digital strategy and systems company built at the intersection of technology, operational architecture, and sustainable growth.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt with more than twenty years of enterprise systems consulting experience. She has worked across complex corporate environments, high-stakes implementation projects, and multi-layered business operations where clarity, structure, and execution are not optional.

Her work centers on helping organizations identify operational gaps, translate complexity into usable systems, and build infrastructure that can actually hold the weight of growth.

02 · THE PERSONAL

A MultiMissionaire, by definition.

She is also a mother, wife, daughter, sister, entrepreneur, writer, and MultiMissionaire — a person carrying more than one mission at a time and refusing to pretend that ambition, responsibility, grief, business, family, and purpose operate in separate lanes.

The framework did not begin in a boardroom. It began with the people who raised her. Her father taught her to swim at eight years old with three words: Float. Breathe. Move. Her mother taught her to write it down. Her grandmother taught her that a boundary is a form of protection — that a porch, like a life, can only safely hold so much before the streetlights come on.

03 · THE DEFINING MOMENT

A Tuesday night in November 2021.

After twenty-one months marked by personal loss, legal proceedings, family responsibility, and operational overload — while still running enterprise contracts and showing up to every meeting on the calendar — Madelyn did what she had trained teams to do for years. She measured.

She wrote down everything she was carrying: the contract work, the family obligations, the favors that had quietly become commitments, the maintenance, and the grief. The hours came to seventy a week. Weighted by what each one actually asked of her, the load against her real capacity produced a single number: 3.72.

The money was there. The peace was not. She had been measuring the deposits, not the withdrawals.

“I had been operating without a measurement.”— SWIM Lessons, Chapter 13
“What is not measured cannot be managed. What is not managed eventually manages you.”— SWIM Lessons

The full story is told in SWIM Lessons.

04 · THE METHODOLOGY

From one number to an operating system.

That night she wrote down three other words: Scale. WithIN. Means. Know what you are trying to grow toward. Know what you are growing inside of. Know what you have to deploy.

Over the following year she installed the system on herself — including the hardest step, declining a renewal the math said she could not carry. What emerged is the SWIM operating system: three pillars, two formulas, one inventory, and one continuous-improvement cycle adapted from the Lean Six Sigma practice she had used for decades.
